The atmosphere is beautiful and intriguing at the same time - splashes of unique colors and art engulf the interior to bring the patrons into a surrounding unlike any other. Our menu is unique in almost every way and we strive to surprise every customer on what their palette might enjoy while trying their next glass of wine. Our knowledgeable staff is always available for anyone with questions about wine typologies or even to just talk "shop" about our wine selection. One of the most unique experiences we offer to our guest is the option to use our self-serve Italian made Enomatics. We offer a selection of 48 wines on these tasting machines that can be dispensed at the correct temperature directly to customers through the use of a microchip card. Every wine on the system can be dispensed in 1.5oz, 3oz, or 6oz pours - giving our guests the chance to taste as many wines as they like without having to look at a single menu. Our goal is to help everyone experience the various types of wine from around the world and to never make anyone feel that you have to have a degree in enology to enjoy a great glass of wine.

Alyways love coming here. From the Sunday brunch to their dinner, everything is fantastic. Their brunch potatoes are to die for! And did I forget to mention their cast wine selection? Will definitely be back many times!

Enjoyed the food, and our waiter was nice, but the hostess was rude and another employee which might have been a manager didn't make us feel welcome at all. Almost felt like we weren't wanted there. Pretty unfortunate because the food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Not sure if we'll go back.

Ambiance is great, the Texas Knights played and they were awesome.... and then the rest of the evening turned South... If it wasn't for the band and our friends the evening would have been ruined... Service was mediocre at best, food quality was good but not reflective of price and management was slow to react. I waited for a chicken derivation for more than an hour. Skip the hype and find a different spot.

Got their curbside Kobe burger special. There was live music in the parking lot while I waited for curbside delivery. Food was packed separately for home assembly. No soggy burgers! It was excellent.

A world-class wine selection is a accompanied by world-class food this is a must go when you're in Lubbock. I ordered the steak and Caesar salad were awesome. Don't forget to start with a charcuterie tray. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, dark setting, low lighting, lovely art, dark wood features with glittering wine bottles and candles. Great live guitarist/artist on a Wednesday night. Wine selection top notch. Food is okay. Last time we had steak which was overcooked (well) and over priced, they brought a new one after I mentioned it, it was (medium rare) undercooked. I had wanted medium. The wine board this time was good. Good service too.

Okay. First things first. Food and drinks are amazing! This is a really cool place. Why did I give it three out of five stars then? I'll tell you. When we got inside, we sat at the bar so that we could drink and watch Thursday Night Football. Inside the Restaraunts in the corner, there was a country musician playing guitar. It was so loud, we could barely hear our bartender. We had to yell to order anything. We ordered drinks and fondue. It took about 15 minutes to get the fondue. The fondue was awesome. I highly recommend the Fiesta fondue. So, after about 30 minutes after we got our drinks and fondue, we ordered our food. The place wasn't busy. It was another hour and a half until I got my salad and my coworker got his pork chop. It was two hours before we got our meal. It was two of us at the bar. Why did it take so long?Great place. Great food. But they need to organize the kitchen and speed up the food.

This place is a gem! Between the atmosphere, wine & food, my husband and I felt like we weren't in Texas anymore. Our server Frank was so friendly and attentive which just made the experience even better... 11/10 recommend!

Lubbock has earned a thumbs up because of the Funky Door. This place is amazing! The ambience....the live music (it was jazz tonight)....the food....and the wine. Everything was fantastic. Bo is an awesome server! I highly recommend!

Getting 5 stars because of the food and ambience. The service was a little slow, especially at the bar. I ended up moving to a table because I was not greeted in the 10 minutes I was there. My server, Sydney, was great, recommending a unique cocktail (Smoke Signal- Knob Creek, Limencello, St. Germain, and grilled pineapple infused sweet tea smoked in a mason jar). The food is really good, especially the mushroom and bacon risotto! There is live music and a wine tasting area too.

This is a great, atmospheric restaurant to dine at. The staff, Carson especially, was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The food was very good. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We especially loved the spinach and artichoke fondue. We topped it off with a chocolate cinnamon dessert that was so good I ended up cheating on my diet. The atmosphere is super inviting, and the live music really adds to the vibe of the place.

Everything was great! Our servers, the food, and wine were perfect! I had Beef & Potatoes soup, Lobster Mac n Cheese with Stella ROSE Peach. We had fun for our girls nights out. I highly recommend tee Funky Door.
